Part-Time / On-Call Pool Cleaning Technician (1099 Contractor)

Aqua Care Pool & Spa is a locally owned pool service company providing  pool and spa cleaning, maintenance, and water testing services for residential clients. We’re growing fast and looking for dependable part-time or on-call contractors to join our team during our busy season.

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Pool Cleaning Technician who enjoys outdoor work and flexible scheduling. This is an independent contractor (1099) position—perfect for someone who wants part-time, seasonal, or supplemental income.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform light cleaning and maintenance for residential pools and spas
  • Skim debris, vacuum, brush walls, and clean filters
  • Test and balance pool water chemistry (training provided)
  • Report findings, photos, or issues to management via mobile app
  • Maintain professionalism and customer courtesy at all times

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must have a smartphone for schedule updates and photos
  • Comfortable working outdoors in summer weather
  • Basic mechanical or maintenance experience preferred
  • Prior pool experience is a plus but not required (training provided)

Compensation:

  • $25,-/hr Regular Cleanings
  • $45,-/Hr Pool Opening/Close 
    (average 45–60 minutes per pool)
